On most coins with live market data we check volume every 5 seconds on Pro and every 30 seconds on Free; on the rest, about every 10 minutes. Same channels as price: email, Telegram, or browser push.

What counts as a volume spike?
Whatever USD 24h volume you set. We notify you when reported 24-hour volume rises above that number. It is not a percentage move, and we do not compare volume to a 7-day average the way some DEX screens do. A common starting point is about 2× today's 24h volume, which is the example on each coin page.
How often is volume checked?
On most coins with live market data we check volume every 5 seconds on Pro and every 30 seconds on Free; on the rest, about every 10 minutes. The app tells you when an alert is on the slower schedule. You are notified within a second or two of that check.
Are volume alerts free?
Yes. They count toward the same 3 active alerts on Free. Pro gets 120. Telegram and email work the same as they do for price alerts.
Why alert on volume instead of price?
On meme coins especially, 24h volume often jumps before the candle looks obvious. A volume target is a way to get pinged on that activity without guessing a price.
