Crypto email alerts

Email is the default channel. Sign up, set a price or 24h volume target, and we email you when it hits — no bot to link, no push permission to grant. Telegram is optional if you want the same alert on your phone. If you are comparing this to a charting subscription, see TradingView alerts vs email. CoinMarketCap's app is push on listed coins; see CoinMarketCap vs our alerts if you want that kind of target in email without installing it.

How to get alerts by email

  1. 1
    Sign up

Email code or Google. Free includes 3 active alerts. Email notifications are on from the start.

  2. 2
    Set a target

Price above, price below, or 24h volume above on any coin in your watchlist.

  3. 3
    Get the email

We check every 5 seconds on Pro and every 30 seconds on Free for most coins with live market data, and about every 10 minutes for the rest. When it hits, we send email (and any other channel you left on).

Never miss an alert — even when push notifications fail

Push is fastest when the OS lets it through. It is also the channel that drops: iPhone only gets it after Add to Home Screen, Android can battery-save it, and Focus / Do Not Disturb will mute it. Email is slower, but it is a record in your inbox and it does not depend on a notification permission. Keep email on as the backup; add Telegram if you want the same hit on your phone. CoinGecko's own alerts stay in their mobile app — no email — see CoinGecko vs our alerts.

What arrives in email

Price crosses

A breakout or a dip on Bitcoin, a meme coin, or anything else you added. Browse coin alert pages for starting points.

Volume spikes

Same inbox, different trigger: 24h volume crossing a USD level you set. Useful when a meme coin starts printing size.

Wallet moves (Pro)

If you turn on wallet activity alerts, new transactions on a saved wallet (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Linea, Blast, Mantle, or Solana) use email too.

FAQ

Do I need Telegram or browser push for email alerts?

No. Email works on its own. Telegram and browser push are optional extras you can turn on later.

Are crypto email alerts free?

Yes. Free includes 10 watchlist coins, 3 active alerts, and email notifications. Pro is $10/month for 120 alerts, 200 coins, and wallet-activity notifications.

How fast is an email alert?

We check prices every 5 seconds on Pro and every 30 seconds on Free for most coins with live market data, and about every 10 minutes for the rest. When an alert triggers, you're notified within a second or two of that check.

Can I use email and Telegram together?

Yes. Use any mix of email, Telegram, and browser push. One alert can fire on all three.

Why use email if Telegram is faster?

Email is the backup when push is muted by Focus or battery saving, or on an iPhone where the site is not added to the Home Screen (Apple only sends web push to installed apps). You also keep a record in your inbox. Telegram is faster on a phone once the bot is linked; email is on from signup with no extra setup.

Does email work for volume and wallet alerts too?

Yes. Price, 24h volume, and Pro wallet-activity alerts all use the same channels you enabled. Email is included on Free for price and volume.
